The 12th annual Kitz4Kids fundraiser raised an amazing $41,724.25 for our Autism Service Dog Program on January 18th!
We would like to thank the organizers and attendees of this fabulous event – your support was instrumental in achieving this great result. A big thank you to each and every one of you!
Special highlights of this year’s Kitz4Kids:
- The fundraising efforts of Violet, Harlo and Theoren Dolejsi, who raised $6,177.25 toward the grand total with their Lemonade Challenge.
- A very special $20,000 donation from the Schmelke Family Charitable Foundation.
- Recognition of Michelle Murray and Danielle Hyson on their completion of the Autism Service Dog Instructor apprenticeship program in 2019.
- Heather Minchinton, who spoke about the amazing impact that her son’s Autism Service Dog has had in his life. Thank you for sharing your story that demonstrates the immeasurable value of our Autism Service Dog Program.
Kitz4Kids is held each year in memory of Andrew Dolejsi and organized by his parents Eva and Lad. We are honoured to have accepted the proceeds of this event since 2014.
