Enjoy a scenic run or walk while raising important funds for BC and Alberta Guide Dogs.
The RunGo Dash for Dogs is held Saturday, February 24th at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park. Participants have a choice of a 2-kilometer, 5k or 10K run/walk. You can also bring along your dog to join you. Funds raised from the event are donated to BC and Alberta Guide Dogs, which professionally trains guide dogs for individuals who are visually impaired and autism support dogs for children with moderate and severe autism.
This fun and non-competitive race takes you through the beautiful trails in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. After the run there will be a social event with pancakes, prizes, and good tunes! This is a race for people to support dogs, you don’t need a dog to run.
Guide dogs and good dogs are welcome and must be on leash and under control at all times for the safety of the working guide dogs.
You can register for the event as an individual or a team. Participants are encouraged to fund raise as well for the event.
