Once a week our trainers partner with PALS Autism School Adult Program. Each week our Instructors bring our Autism Support Dogs to their facility. While there, their clients work two at a time with one of our dogs and Instructors. This partnership has been great for both our Autism Support Dogs division and for PALS. Our dogs receive first hand experience working with individuals with Autism and PALS’ clients are able to interact with a calm dog doing such as activities as going for a walk, giving commands to the dog, brushing the dog, playing pass with a ball with the dog, and working on motor skills by buttoning a shirt on the dog. Before we leave their facility each week all PALS clients have the chance to pet and spend some time with the dog. Take a look through the photo album below of our dogs with PALS’ clients.
