BC & Alberta Guide Dogs relies on volunteers to:
We need volunteers to raise puppies that are training to be Guide Dogs for the blind/visually-impaired, or Autism Support Dogs for children and their families living with moderate to severe autism.
We need boarding homes for dogs that are in advanced training and need to live closer to our offices. Volunteers board an adult dog (already house-trained) for around a 5 month period, providing a loving home for the dog on evenings and weekends. Our staff will pick up the dog for training around 9am and drop the dog off around 4pm (Monday to Friday only).
We are periodically looking for individuals to breed or whelp our litters.

Help with Office Support
Throughout the year, we need individuals to come into our Delta Office to help with our mailouts. This involves folding, stuffing, labeling and other office duties.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email Michael McQuillan.
