Celebrating Our Newest Graduates: Two Autism Service Dog Teams and One Guide Dog Team!
We are delighted to share the exciting news of our recent graduation of three new teams—two Autism Service Dog teams and one Guide Dog team!
Our two Autism Service Dogs, Misty and Roscoe have already begun making a profound difference in the lives of their handlers, Taiki and Lucas, providing them with the security and companionship they need to explore the world with greater confidence. We can’t wait to see the positive impact these partnerships will bring to their lives and their families’.
In addition to our Autism Service Dog graduates, we are equally thrilled to announce the graduation of our newest Guide Dog team, Laura and Fergie. Guide Dogs provide essential assistance to individuals who are blind or have low vision, enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Laura and Fergie’s partnership is a shining example of the life-changing bond between a Guide Dog and its handler.
William Thornton, CEO of BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, says, “These graduates represent hope, independence, and newfound opportunities for their families and communities. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to the success of this program.”
Congratulations to our new graduates! We look forward to seeing the incredible journeys that lie ahead for each of these amazing teams.
