Puppies In The Park!

On June 25, we had the amazing opportunity to participate in a special socialization event where our dogs-in-training enjoyed a horse-drawn carriage tour around Stanley Park.

This unique training experience allowed the puppies to encounter new sounds, sights, and environments, helping prepare them for their future roles as Guide or Service Dogs.

FORE!

The Rogers Charity Classic takes place August 14 – 18, 2024 at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club in Calgary, AB. This tournament benefits more than just the players & the fans … it has raised over $112 million for more than 270 Alberta children & youth charities in the past 10 years.

Notably, this includes support for our Autism Service Dog program for children aged 3 – 10.

Patricia and Rubix joyfully welcomed three new boys into our lives on June 3rd. As a first-time dad, Rubix, did exceptionally well, proving himself to be a natural at fatherhood!

Nikki and Finn are happy to announce the arrival of 7 new babies to the world. They were born June 20. We have 6 females and 1 male (the only black is a female!).

Mom is very proud of them and does not want to leave them even to go outside!

BC & Alberta Guide Dogs at Bard on the Beach

Four of our adorable puppies are set for a fun adventure, attending a performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night on June 30th with Bard on the Beach! This is a fantastic chance for our pups to experience new lights, sounds, and the thrill of enthusiastic clapping. Plus, it’s a wonderful way for Bard to show their support for our community’s accessibility needs, all while our puppies enjoy a unique and exciting socialization experience.
